LABA Tikkun Shavuot 2025 – Night of Change was a unique artistic event held on June 1, 2025, at the historic Casa Adret in the heart of Barcelona’s former Jewish quarter. Organized by LABA Barcelona, it reimagined the traditional Shavuot night study ritual into a contemporary, interactive format that blended art, reflection, and shared experience. From the invitation stage, participants were engaged in a seven-day creative observation challenge inspired by the sefirot, bringing their verbal, visual, or performative responses to the event.
The evening opened with a short contextual introduction by Dr. Ze’ev Maor, followed by a series of presentations spanning performance, music, film, site-specific actions, visual arts, and interactive storytelling. Each project invited the audience to participate—through movement, conversation, creative contribution, or reflection. The event brought together artists, educators, activists, members of the local Jewish community, students, and cultural stakeholders, creating a space for dialogue on contemporary Jewish identity, memory, and transformation.
