events Programme
The Szeged Jewish Community, the National Rabbinical Seminary – Jewish University, and the University of Szeged are organizing an international academic conference in Szeged titled "The Life and Work of Immanuel Löw." The conference will be held primarily in Hungarian, with some sessions in English. The goal of this international conference is to bring together scholars, researchers, and experts from various countries and regions to facilitate collaboration and develop new perspectives on the life and work of Immanuel Löw, the Chief Rabbi of Szeged.
The prestigious plenary and panel sessions will provide researchers with an opportunity to present their work, while the program also includes a walk to commamorate Löw, and the official inauguration of parks named after Leopold Löw and Immanuel Löw.
